The Town of Caroga was formed on April 11, 1842.
        It was composed of lands of the Towns of Stratford, Bleecker, and Johnstown.

Meeting News

Upcoming Town Board Meetings:  The Regular monthly meetings of the Caroga Town Board are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm.  The next meeting of the Town Board will be  on  Wednesday May 8th, 2024 at 6:30 pm.    In person attendance is welcome

 “Starting in May 2024 and onward, residents will be able to use the same ZOOM Meeting ID and Passcode for every monthly town board meeting.  This will prevent you, the participants, from having to check the Facebook page or website for new meeting entry details every month, for your convenience.  At this time the monthly meetings are pre-scheduled within the ZOOM service for every second Wednesday of the coming months throughout 2024.  All you need to do is log in to ZOOM using the link and enter the details provided as long as it is 6:30 PM on the meeting night.  Thank you for your patience and participation.”

Town Clerk Office Hours January thru April 30th 2024: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 9 am – 3 pm  Thursday & Saturday 9 – 12.
Appointments can also be scheduled for other times convenient to the public.
